5000 Posts: How To Navigate That Much Crap

This is my 5000th post on Siskoid's Blog of Geekey. That's a lot of material written over the course of 6½ years, and while I know how to navigate my own space (and the search function up top is pretty good), I can't expect anyone else to. That's a weakness of the blog format. Older articles scroll down and aren't indexed in any meaningful way unless you put in a lot of work, a humongous sidebar, something, and even then, articles will show up in reverse order. I thought I'd celebrate the 5000th-post landmark by providing a guide to the various categories/labels I use on the blog to at least create the illusion of structure. If I had the time and energy (and I may yet), I'd put a detailed and chronological index on my site somewhere for the big daily reviews projects like Star Trek and Doctor Who. The list below is fairly complete, and I'll keep it updated. I've omitted some labels where they were redundant or not pointing to enough relevant material. For example, I once thought of doing regular Metamorpho features after I bought his Showcase Presents collection, but never did, so the label just points to the same articles as the Outsiders label. Anyway, I hope you find this useful in future visits to this site.

Now those who don't care for people in long-johns can get that Doctor Who-only feed they've always dreamed about, or whatever. Note that labels are in the category most appropriate to them, even if there may be some multi-media crossover (Reign covers Supemen in all media, for example). So have at it, explore, but don't stray too far, new articles are still coming out every day!

Congratulations on 5,000th posts! That's mighty impressive, especially given how detailed the majority are. Looking forward to the next 5,000!

Sir, you are truly, a madman with a blog. And I mean that in the best possible way.

I am driven insane by the fact I cannot call my blog that at this point.
