Enough Already!

If Heroes references the Red Hulk one more time, I'm gonna scream.

Is it Jeff Loeb's massive hubris or a farewell gift to a sacked producer? Either way, I ain't buying it.

I'm gonna go with Loeb's hubris...especially after the assertion in this last episode that ANYONE would be worried about a comic shop running out of Loeb's Hulk, as if masses of geeks are dying to get their hands on that "masterpiece" or something.

The episode was more or less done before Loeb got canned, I believe (I'm pretty sure the rest of this volume isn't affected by his absence in any way, since they get done so far in advance of airing).

Or maybe you were just being rhetorical...

Ooh, don't get me started: I didn't pay money for Ultimatum, but Ultimate Nightcrawler was killed off! Meanwhile, Angel is flying underwater, while the guy who could teleport away died. Thanks for wrecking the Ultimate universe, Loeb!

Speaking of comics on the show, who the HELL is producing new issues of 9th Wonders?

Same Tim Sale art, but Isaac's been dead for a couple seasons and we saw the last issue ship out of his workshop.

It's something Peter Petrelli does in between all that time traveling.

The official explanation (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=18931) from the show is that since comics are created months ahead of their release date, and Isaac died, at the most, 6 months ago in the shows time, these are still issues he did before he died.

And apparently, it gets addressed next episode, but in true fashion, it'll probably be muddled and just suggest more questions.

Comics ready not only on time but ahead of schedule? Superhuman powers are more believable. ;-)

I still think the Rulk mention this episode was a joke playing off Hiro's reaction last week to it.

Sure, but that first reference is highly suspect and self-promoting.
That cover was in my eye's blind spot, I didn't see a thing :-P
